This is a comprehensive hands on training program that will prepare you to be confident and proficient at facilitating workshops and coaching through Equine Guided Learning. We train you to be a professional with credibility to your practice. This is not like other training programs that teach you how to “use” the horse as a “tool” to play games with. At EquuSpirit Partnership, we “partner” with and honor the horse as a sentient being, no greater or less than ourselves. We foster a kinship with our horse teachers as well as well as our students. Our style is in the same experiential learning model that is the basis of all our programs, learning by doing with reflection. The training program incorporates philosophies and practices from Epona, Gestalt, NLP, Liberty Horsemanship and Earth/Heart based practices. Effective coaching and facilitating requires keen intuition and powerful questioning to help get to the core where the real shift in perspective can occur, leading to more sustainable results for your clients. We teach our students to utilize all the information the client and the horses share and instinctively choose the appropriate follow through that is best for the client and the horse. Our goal of the program is to train you to be effective, mindful, sharp, inspirational, ethical, safe and most of all, successful in your career.

The EGL certification training is a 200 hour course segmented into 5 live training modules over 5 months. In addition to live training modules, students will meet a required amount of hours of self study, peer coaching, private sessions and volunteering. The variety and diversity of learning opportunities we provide in this program will expedite your skills, boost confidence and set you apart in this competitive field. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be certified in EGL and ready to step forward to share your gifts. The curriculum is designed to thoroughly encompass a set of core competencies and proficiencies throughout the training program.

We are coaches and facilitators who ethically work within our defined scope of practice . Our team of humans and horses create a safe space to set the stage and facilitate the opportunities and coach our clients to discover their own truth, define their own values and come up with their own conclusions.

What is the investment for tuition? Tuition for the EGL certification program is a total of $4500 including a deposit of $500. This is a tremendous value for the depth and quality of this training. Your tuition includes Orientation and introductory Equine Journey workshop, all live training modules, course material, beverages and snacks. We do not include lunch. Live Training Modules: Dates for 2019 TBD
Overview of curriculum. *Required* : Orientation and Equine Journey TM workshop The journey starts here. You will be starting your path as a student by experience the power of Equine Guided Learning for yourself as a participant in this insightful workshop. This is our orientation into the program and an opportunity to gain clarity, set intensions and discover what you need to achieve your personal best. Meet your new tribe of teachers, peers and some of the ESP herd. Date is TBD. Module 1: All About The Horse Horse communication, behavior, safety, horse partnering and relationship building, ethology, horse somatics, horse personalities, horse care and management Module 2: The Human Element & Our Role in EGL Behavior, human/horse interaction, communication, somatics, levels of energy, healing influences, authenticity, intuition , intention, learning styles, facilitation skills, group dynamics, coaching concepts and private session dynamics Module 3: EGL For Personal Growth And Healing Facilitation and coaching skills expanded, different topics of interest, creating sustainable change/shifting perspective, powerful questions, the client/coach relationship, ethics, inspiring presentation and speaking. This module ends with a real half day Equine Journey TM workshop with real clients. Students will have the opportunity to apply skills and contribute to the design and execution of this workshop. Module 4: EGL For Professional Development Facilitation and coaching skills adapted, team building, leadership, groups/private, organizational development, sales process, business development. This module also includes a real corporate workshop lead by ESP team and students. Students will have the opportunity to practice skills and help organize this event. Module 5: Student Workshops and Graduation Display skill set and core competencies, prep, workshop execution, debrief, valuable take aways, follow through, next steps, client retention, business development, marketing, networking, final exam and Graduation!!! The breakdown of the 200 hours for the EGL certification are as follows: * 120 hrs of live class time via the 6 modules * 36 hrs of self study horse time.
